Very well located to drive in and around New Forest. The host was very attentive. The room is very cozy and warm. Good shower, bed and heating. Little welcome basket with freshly baked bread.

This Airbnb is just outside the New Forest National park and it is in a rural location, barely off the A road, but the 1 bed apartment is highly insulated and decorated to a very high standard and it is very comfortable inside, allowing you to forget the world outside.
The kitchen nook is tiny but well appointed. It has everything you will need for a weekend, but a bit too small for say a week. A tiny fridge but a luxury shower area.
The bungalow is 20 min walk from the rural village of Whitehaven. It's a tiny village for the affluent so there are contrasts. There are 2 main pubs that are very popular at medium price fares, but great service and large portions.
We made the walk twice for lunch, with restricted opening hours, please check.
The entrance to the National park is 10 min away, with very narrow lanes in all directions.
That building would be super high-end in a better location.
The room has good wifi and a decent television.
The owner is very attentive and provided a rustic malted loaf, milk and jams as complementary, a very welcome touch to a traveller.
We enjoyed our weekend there.
Rooms: A relatively large bedroom with a large bathroom with shower. The room has central heating and all modern facilities
Walkability: There are lovely walks in 2 directions, one to the National park and the other to the local village with pubs.
Food & drinks: There are generous tea and coffee facilities in the room, with 2 local pubs and other restaurants within a 5 mile radius. Definitely a rural setting to be enjoyed.

Beautiful stay in the Owl Barn for 3 nights. David was very accommodating! The studio itself was wonderful, super cosy and quiet. The facilities were modern and clean, with a very comfy bed!
We enjoyed hanging out with the alpaca, chickens and Mac the gorgeous pooch.
Perfectly located and plenty of pre arrival information, as well as a great guide package on arrival about the local area.
Thank you again for such a lovely stay!

Our stay in the Little Newt self-catered cottage on the property was perfect. David and Lizzie were very helpful. It was very clean, the bed was comfy, hot water and water pressure in the shower were great. Easy to explore the New Forest and surrounding area from here. Kitchen was well stocked with necessary equipment which allowed us to enjoy all our meals there.

Stayed for two nights in the lovely, very spacious and quiet Trafalgar room. The conservatory is light and airy and a perfect place to have your breakfast, and I really don’t think you could get a better breakfast anywhere - huge choice and a superb full English. The owners are very helpful and friendly and clearly love their jobs. First class and thoroughly recommended.

What a lovely place to stay! David made my grandson and I feel welcome from the moment we arrived! The bedroom was cosy and beautifully presented. He showed us round with pride. We loved what we saw....the breakfast room, lounge and best of all, the superb grounds with hens and to cap it all, four alpacas!
After a very long drive and an eventful day i was so happy to sit quietly in the lounge for a comfortable hour to unwind.
The variety of items at breakfast was superb. We were loaned a large road atlas with recommendations of places to visit. Sadly we had no time during this visit, maybe next time. Can't wait to return, hopefully when the weather is warmer and drier so we can appreciate them at their best. I'm looking forward to using the swimming pool too!
Thank you so much, David.

I really don’t understand why people book into hotels when there are such wonderful b & b’s to stay in. Newton Farmhouse is a case in point.
A warm welcome and a good introduction in to the B & B and what there is to offer in the area. That was followed up by an introduction to the wonderful family pets before being shown around our very comfortable and tastefully decorated room. Luxury bedding etc what more can you ask for. Only complaint I as a general principle like rains shower heads with this one a little soft for me
Breakfast - the best fresh fruit selection I have had anywhere in the UK served to us in the lovely conservatory with its old ovens. Rest of the cooked meal was just as good
Thoroughly recommend a stay here - far more reasonable than hotels in the area and a 100times better

A beautiful farmhouse bed and breakfast. I was brought here for a weekend birthday surprise and would recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable, friendly place to stay. The hosts are really helpful in providing maps for local things to do and places to eat. There is on site parking and the surrounding gardens and grounds are teaming with beautiful foliage and flowers. There are chickens and alpacas to see, which kept me and my friend entertained for some time. Not to mention the two gorgeous pooches that greeted us, Poppy and Mac. Breakfast was a vast choice of different fruits, yoghurt, pastries and a choice of cooked options as well. The rooms provide you with en suite bathroom, comfortable beds and tea, coffee and hot chocolate making facilities, also a tasty chocolate treat or two. I would most definitely stay here again. Thank you for your hospitality and a lovely weekend x
